Food Trucks – Wednesday Lunch Parties

Are you ready for the Wednesday Lunch Parties at The Community Hub! We promise to have something for everyone!
Join us every Wednesday starting in June until the end of September for our Wednesday Lunch Party! From 11:30am – 1:30pm enjoy a great afternoon break and lunch outdoors on the picnic tables at the Community Hub. A selection of food vendors will be on location as well as musical entertainment!
A great opportunity to leave the office and recharge mid-day.
The Community Hub is located behind 400 March Road, or on Legget Drive across from QNX. Look for the Community Hub Sign and the picnic tables near the employee parking sign on Legget Dr.

Danielle Allard will be in the hub performing this week. Singer-Songwriter. Chameleon. Her tender voice and her combination of jazz, folk, pop, and blues will leave you pleasantly astounded. Danielle Allard has been performing publicly for over 15 years and graced stages across Canada and Europe. After a tour of Germany and Portugal this year, Allard featured on the main stage at Ottawa’s CityFolk Festival and performed a showcase at the annual Folk Music Ontario conference. Her other festival appearances include performances at RBC Bluesfest, Marvest, and the Ottawa Jazz Festival. She has also been a featured performer at festivals outside of the city, performing in Toronto’s TwimFest and Calabogie’s Mountain Man Music Festival. Her third album, Passing Notes, is set for release in the Spring. She is known for her charity work in the nation’s capital, donating over 30 performances to various charities each year. Apart from her music, she is a community builder, teaching public relations and marketing at Algonquin College and working with local emerging artists and entrepreneurs in social media marketing and business strategy.

Here is a summary of the Kanata North Summer Activities Schedule:
- Yoga at the Hub with Inner Revolution Yoga studio starts Tuesday June 5th from 12 noon to 1 pm.
- BIG BIKE event at the Community Hub will be held on May 24th corporate teams ride to raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. There will be 2 different Food trucks available for lunch to kick off the opening of the Community Hub.
- Wednesday Lunch Parties at the Community Hub located on Legget Drive (across from the QNX building) will start Wednesday, May 24th from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, and take place every Wednesday until the end of Sept. Enjoy a variety of food trucks for your lunch time pleasure.
- Thursdays will be different this year with an occasional visit from a farmers market at the Community hub providing fresh produce. for purchase. Watch for announcements.
